Summer is here and I am still training hard. - @annadeda
Hello to all my friends of steemit.
Today the weather was very hot here in Athens and that's why the training today was really difficult. We were sweating a lot and stopping the training very often to drink a lot of water. But the worst thing was the fact that due to the heat the leather from the balls was very sticky and this resulted in new distances in every strategy. This was such a nightmare for us because it takes a lot of time and effort to cope with new distances. After 3 hours or so we asked from the boss of the stadium if it was possible to turn on the air conditioning for us. That moment what was our "Saving Grace" 😊 . The coolness from the air condition felt so good that we own kept training for another 4 hours Non-Stop enjoying the hard work and the good results. As you can imagine the summer in Greece is a wonderful season and to have to spend it inside the stadium is very frustrating in itself. Sometimes when it is too hard to bear I close my eyes and try to imagine that I am relaxing in a beautiful beach with the most beautiful blue sea. After that I regain the courage to face reality and keep on training.

If it helps remember that while you are training the other athletes are most likely out enjoying the summer. This means you are either catching up to the competition or leading the pack and making the gap between you and them even bigger! Enjoy your summer!
