Good friends of steemit today I come to attract a small publication which will give you a good use and is about What should I eat before going to the gym? As you know, it is very important to feed when you are going to train because this will make us perform better in our training routines, if you want to go to the gym one of the things you must take into account is that it is not right to eat very heavy, since this will cause that we are not in the best conditions to support a training.

This does not mean that we should skip a meal, on the contrary we will occupy nutrients and energy when training which will take them out of food.

The best thing to eat before going to the gym are healthy appetizers which will help you to have a better workout in the gym, then I will show you some foods that you can eat before going to do any physical activity, which will help you to have more energy.

The foods to eat before going to the gym are the following:

  • Nuts: They contain healthy fats, carbohydrates and proteins.

  • Yoghurt: It is ideal for breakfast and you can combine it with fruits or other healthy foods.

  • Boiled egg (preferably without yolk): They have protein, amino acids, vitamin C and fats.

  • Chia Seeds: They are full of omega-3s, proteins and antioxidants.

  • Oats: Half a cup of oatmeal an hour or two before exercising.

  • Fruits: Orange, apples, grapes are water based and will provide you with the fluid and hydration you need for the gym.

The water is also important, and it is best to drink water before you are thirsty. Ideally, drink half a liter of water before starting your routine, and about 250 ml during and at the end of your routine.

And remember to avoid foods with high fat content or too much of any food, it is best to wait 3 to 4 hours before exercising after a heavy meal. That time we have to wait for your body to have enough time to process the food.
