Another 1-2 finish for VW Polo R5 rally car

It seems that Volkswagen works rally team is doing a great job in R5 class with their newly homologated Polo R5 rally car. I wrote about it a lot in the past year but the results show that they have another rally weapon ready to conquer the rally world after they won four WRC championships with Polo WRC.
This time they took win in the French Rally Championship, on Rallye Le Touquet where Citroen's works driver and team behind Yoann Bonato couldn't do anything against two private entrants with Polo R5.
Bonato led yesterday but after all he lost the rally against super quick Nicolas Ciamin who is gaining bigger and bigger name from rally to rally.
Quentin Gilbert finished 2nd in another Polo R5, as I wrote, while Citoren's works driver Bonato finishe only 3rd.
