Blast from the past - WRC Rally Portugal 2001

Hi, Steemers!

Tonight we have a real classic from the past and all the action is held on gravel of Portugal.

Oops, not gravel. I would rather call it a mud but the rally itself is a classic.

Current Toyota WRC boss Tommi Makinen won the rally with Mitsubishi Lancer group A (the era of WRC cars started in 1997 but Mitsubishi ran the group A car until mid 2001).

Some zero cars stuck in the mud and that's how bad conditions was in Portugal in 2001.
