Evans testing with M-Sport Ford for Rally Portugal

Testings are allowed only in Europe for all the works teams in the World Rally Championship.

The next event of the WRC is Rally Portugal and that country is ideal for testing because it's driven on gravel and around 75% of the Championship are gravel rallies.

Good testing is very important for the driver and the team if they want good result on some of the rallies and we all know that without sponsorship there's no relaxed driving.

I know that very good from my experience because I almost always financed around 70% of the budget for any of my rallies.

And on the highest level of the sport it's vital to have a sponsorship because we are talking here about 7 figure numbers.

So, M-Sport Ford is testing ahead of Rally Portugal and one of the drivers on the test was Elfyn Evans, the winner of the Wales Rally GB.

This season he is without 'good' results, maybe the pressure of having the 5 times WRC champ beside him in the team is too much for him. Just to remind you, Evans is now 2nd M-Sport Ford driver and he is on better tires (Michelin) then last year's DMACK.
