Hybrid future for WRC from 2022
Hi, Steemers!
It was hard to believe for me that modern WRC cars should have hybrid technology so soon.
It's different with Formula 1 because when driver and car went off the track nobody can touch the car because of the power units full of generated current.
But what about rally cars which go off the road oftenll?! What will be when fans will try to push the car back on the road?! Will they be hurted of the volts inside a power units? Nobody think about that at the moment.
But I am sure that engineers have the plan to make the cars very good for the sport.
Well, the fossil fuels are running out so it is pretty normal that FIA and manufacturers think about that.
This month it will be published regulations and costs about hybrid WRC cars which will be on the special stages from season 2022.
