It's 25 years today from Colin McRae's first WRC win

My hero Colin McRae would have an anniversary today if he is still alive, because today is 25 years from his first win, that one in New Zealand. I heard for him for the first time at the end of 1992 and we all said: 'This guy is totally crazy!' In a positive way, of course.

Colin inspired many generations of rally fans across the world and he is for sure the biggest promoter of rallying sport in the history of it.

When I was in 20's, there was no one who didn't hear for the McRae name. This days when I ask kids on the street if they know someone in rallying, they don't know. And it's a shame. I would say that rally managers should be blamed for that. No paying driver should be in the works team, if you ask me for that.

So, it was a nice occasion for us to remember Colin and his talent.
