Mikkelsen leading Rally Sardinia after first loop of stages

Rally Sardinia has started last night with the short super special stage long only 2kms. Today real action begun. Today we have eight stages on the program and the first loop of the special stages is already behind us.

Andreas Mikkelsen from Norway driving a Hyundai i20WRC is a current leader in front of another Hyundai driver and championship leader Thierry Neuville.

On the 3rd place is the fastest Toyota driver Ott Tanak. It's interesting that a paying M-Sport driver Teemu Suninen is in 4t position and in front of the five times world rally champion Ogier.

Yesterday's shakedown winner Latvala is only 6th. The fastest Citroen driver is Mads Ostberg who is in 7th position in front of the 3rd Hyundai driver for this rally - Hayden Paddon.

Another Citroen driver Craig Breen is only 9th. It's obvious that Citroen doesn't have a good season for now.

Lappi (Toyota) closes top 10.
