No Croatia Rally on 2019 WRC draft
Hi, Steemers!
Now when we have guaranties worth 1m€ from our Government, we don't have our slot on 2019 World Rally Championship calendar. And it's not over with this. For 2020 rallies in Japan and Africa are in FIA plans because they want to expand series outside Europe.
Ok, it's good that we have all continents involved in the WRC (except North America because they are not interested in this sport at all) but I really wanted to see my country on the WRC draft for some of the years ahead. It was also my chance to start one rally from the World Rally Championship.
I also know how much work and money was invested in this project and I can say that our organizers and federation won't be happy with this decision.
Well, it's also our problem and mistake because we didn't have the money guaranties that FIA wants on time, when we our rally was ran as a candidate event. Now we can only wait some better times or wait that FIA says no to some of the organizers like they did to Poland last year because of the bad organization.

What's also new in the WRC??
Ken Block, globe known YouTuber with his Gymkhana videos, bought Ford Fiesta WRC from M-Sport. They made only 10 chassis and sold only two cars, the rest of them they use on WRC rallies this season (chassis number one is used only for testing).
Block will drive Rally Catalunya later this month and it's still unknown if it will be bought car or will he rent it from M-Sport in 'Arrive and drive' package.
