Petter Solberg decided to quit professional driving career

I was watching the last special stage of Wales Rally 2003 when Solberg won the driver's WRC crown. I rmember it because that special stage was the last one for two other top drivers from their WRC career - Tommi Makinen and Colin McRae.
McRae had a puncture on that final stage while battling against Makinen for the last podium place. Makinen won and McRae finished 4th after change of the wheel.
Solberg won in direct battle against Citroen's driver and he celebrated in style, that's why they called him Mr.Hollywood. I must admit I never liked that kind of his 'I am the main face here' style. I always liked cool faces without so much drama and glittery.
But it is something else here very important to be said: Solberg is the last one Scandinavian to won the WRC driver's crown. And that is something to remember.
What now for him? He will probably driver here and there but full seasons are game over for him - he says.
