Sordo tested Hyundai R5 car ahead of Barum Rally

Spaniard Dani Sordo has only one win in the World Rally Championship so far but he's probably one of the most consistent drivers in the sport. He almost never retires and that's why he has the job every season.

He's probably ideal 2nd or 3rd driver. This season he was really great on gravel events also because we know him as a tarmac specialist.

He has only two WRC rallies this season in front of him - Germany and Catalunya. To remind you, he shares a 3rd Hyundai's car with Hayden Paddon.

Becuase it's a next event in the calendar, Hyundai gave Sordo one tarmac event as a preparation for Rally Germany, and that one is in Czech Republic. It's called Barum Rally and it's a part of European Rally Championship.

Hyundai needs additional promotion of their R5 car because that car is not on the pair with Škoda's or M-Sport's Ford. But the problem is that Škoda's leading driver J.Kopecky knows that roads like his home.
