Toyota World Rally Team not interested in Meeke's services

Rally gossip gave us some news about potential works teams interested in Kris Meeke's services after his departure from the Citroen World Rally Team.

News were about Hyundai and Toyota as interested new employers but now only Hyundai is a potential employer for Meeke at the end of the season when three of the four Hyundai's drivers are out of contract with them.

They know very well how quick Meeke is as well as how crash prone also is.

It's like a buying a cat in the bag. You never know what you bought until the Sunday.

However, it won't be easy for Meeke to find a new job after being fired by Citroen at the middle of the 2018 season.

It seems that manufacturers are looking for drivers who finish rallies these days.

Shunt are not interesting these days for anyone. Especially, very dangerous shunts like Meeke somtimes knows how to do them.
