Dani Alves, demonstrating quality and respect

In this opportunity I am going to detail an event that happened to an important South American player who left a great lesson to a fan who wanted to provoke him in a football match.
The player is the Brazilian Dani Alves, and the events occurred in 2014 in a meeting between his then club Barcelona and Villarreal, where he suffered an incident with a racist tint.

The 76th minute elapsed and Barcelona the match was tied, the Madrigal stadium was euphoric with only a few minutes left to finish the match. The player was the victim of criticism in his club for his poor performance in recent months and felt that in that game, could demonstrate his full level of play.
After a deviation of the Villarreal defense provoked a corner shot that the Brazilian quickly went to collect, when suddenly fell from one of the stands a banana in front of the played interposing between him and the ball, the line judge who under the astonished look understood the provocation they made to the player. They treated him like an animal, as if he were a monkey or an ape, perhaps because of his skin color and origin from South America. The player remained calm and knew that he could not waste time if he entered the provocation, so he did not stand idly by and wanted to give them a lesson, simply decided to peel it and eat it without any other gesture, then took the corner shot normally.
Although he was annoyed by the action the player remained focused on the game, and a few minutes later threw a center that unfortunately for the rival team ended in autogol, the meeting ended 3 to 2 in favor of Barcelona.
Perhaps the Brazilian was the one who most enjoyed this great victory, which was also a great lesson for the rival team. In a press conference, the Brazilian assures that in more than 11 years it is not the first time that he has suffered racist attacks in Europe, and that he is not the only one who has been a victim of them.
In spite of feeling very offended and angry, he proved to be better than the racist fans who wanted to provoke him, also in a jocular tone he said that he did not know who had thrown the banana at him but he thanks him because the potassium contained in it helped him to recharge his energies and throw the centers that helped his team to go with the victory.
Days later the news came out that the fan who generated this action was fined and although the monetary sanction is not enough, there was a punishment. Thus taking a big step towards a change of perspective so that there is more respect on the part of the fans towards the players, either on or off the court.
