The Camp Nou

The Camp Nou is a sports venue owned by the Barcelona Football Club, located in the Les Corts district of the city of Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Opened on September 24, 1957 and listed by UEFA as an "elite stadium", 3 is the stadium with the greatest capacity in Europe and the third football in the world, with a current capacity of 99 354 spectators.

The capacity of the stadium has varied from its initial capacity of around ninety thousand locations, to its maximum capacity of one hundred and twenty thousand spectators, with the construction on the occasion of the 1982 World Cup in Spain, the third grandstand.5 Finally in 1994, its current capacity was below one hundred thousand spectators, after the remodeling undertaken in application of the regulations that forced the elimination of seats without seats.

La necesidad de construir un nuevo estadio surgió a principios de los años 1950, con la eclosión de la difusión del fútbol en España y la llegada al club en 1951 de Ladislao Kubala.6​ Pese a que el antiguo Camp de Les Corts contaba con 60 000 localidades, se quiso construir otro con una capacidad de alrededor de 90 000 espectadores, que diera cabida a los miles de aficionados que querían asistir para ver en directo los partidos del conjunto culé y convertir el nuevo estadio en uno de los más grandes y majestuosos del mundo.
