Morris and Behardien back in ODI Squad against Australia

Good afternoon to all, South Africa is on touring of South Africa where they will play 3 ODIs and only T20 match which is a very short tour but very Exciting one because of both teams struggling in International absent of their biggest players. South Africa struggling with an injury where Australia miss their big players who have Ban of one year and thus both teams look so ordinary. in recent Squad Announcement, Morris and Behardien back in ODI squad after a long time so let discuss it.

first of all its a good news from South Africa point of view that Morris is fit and ready to play in international cricket after February. South Africa must need him at the moment at the lower order as they have not such big hitter and all-rounder so this makes their batting stronger as well as bowling too because he is also a good bowler in death overs. he is also showed his talent in IPL too that what he can do. his average is not good but also not bad because in the last 3 years he has improved a lot. he played 34 matches so far in where he played 23 innings and made 394 runs with an average of 20 and highest score is 62 with SR of 98. he took 35 wickets with best of 4/31 with an economy of 5.6 which is always good while you bowling most in death overs. his record looks so ordinary but he has the potential to perform much better than it so let see how he is helpful for South Africa.

Farhaan Behardien is against selected for ODIs as he is the one player who got most of the chances but not able to prove his performance. I still not understand what role he will play because he always comes in any number for batting and most of the time did disappoint. his list A career is good and seen in domestic cricket that he played many good innings but he can't able to perform in International cricket according to his potential. what I think is that maybe he included because he can do bowl also and took some wickets which is the main reason and also one reason is that there is no other batsman who can do much better than him so maybe that is why they picked him. Behardien played 59 matches so far where he scored 1074 runs at an average of 31 with SR of 98 with the highest score is 70. according to current team situation its ok choice because not such good and experienced batsmen in the team.

there are many players in the squad who will play first time in Australia so its a big challenge for them but most of the batting will depend on Quinton De Kock and captain Faf Du Plessis where in the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir will take the command. it also needs to see how Dale Steyn will perform because he also returns in Internation cricket after a long time due to injury. I am also eager to see Lungi Ngidi in Australia especially in Perth, W.A.C.A. because he is a good bowler who always bowls line to line and not gives lose delivery and thus his economy is always good. this pitch will definitely help to fast bowler and I am sure Lungi Ngidi will sure show his class in Australia. Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klassen, Ngidi, Shamsi, Pretorius are the player who will play first time in Australia so it's a challenging situation there to perform well. ODI series between South Africa and Australia will start from 4th November.
