Denver Broncos Finally Get An Elite Right Tackle!
Offensive tackles in the NFL are never cheap and the Broncos just let one get DEEP into the Bowlen family pockets. Right tackle JaWuan James a right tackle from Miami signed a 4 yr. 52 Million Dollar contract with 32 Million in guaranteed money. Wow....that’s a lotta Jing just to block people from bashing your QB facemask in!
James is one of the Elite right tackles in the entire NFL and when you wanna buy the best, it’s gonna cost ya. The odd thing to me is the type of contract he signed is usually what you get if you play left tackle and your QB is right handed. (To protect the QB blind side). This contract with this particular player makes me think Elway might like left handed Tua, the College QB Phenomenon at the University of Alabama. Either way, a team needs great tackles on both ends, especially with some of the elite pass rushers currently in the AFC West. So even if Elway is not eyeing Tua next year, you can never go wrong with building a fortress up front. I’m sure the biggest fan of this free agent signing is none other than Joe Flacco.

It’s hard to say. Tackles get good paychecks. The Raiders signed a guy who was a seventh round pick at tackle for a record 66m yesterday.......so I think the contract we gave him was in the ballpark.
I am so sure that Trent Brown is doing a jig today. I was left with my mouth hanging... but, when you put it like that, it is all relative, isn't it?
Just have him switch to the blind side. For that kind of money you should be able to switch without complaining. Looks like the Broncos are in business now! As far as SEC QBs are concerned...I don't know man. I went to college in the SEC and watched a lot of those games. The defense is so tough in the SEC that those QBs end up taking a pounding and run up a lot of mileage on their bodies real fast. They throw the QBs around like rag dolls down there in the deep south.
