Twitter direct analysis of the Football World Cup

Some US and Australian media, and several teams participating in the FIFA World Cup this year will broadcast their content live on Twitter. These include analysis and subject matter related to the World Cup. This step is being taken to involve more people in the microblogging site.

Sporttechy's report on Wednesday said that "FIFA World Cup will have a highlight within a few seconds of every goal, and it will be posted on Twitter."

Everyday, during the World Cup, the US TV channel Fox Sports and Australian TV channel SBS will broadcast live match analysis on Twitter, according to the IANS report.

Zay Bassi, senior manager of Twitter's Global Content Partnership Management, said, "Our World Contribution Partnership is the biggest event in the World Cup 2015."

According to the report, Twitter has partnerships with 24 publishers across 12 countries and territories to provide content from the field.

The featured teams on Twitter are Brazil, France and Spain.

"They come here to see and discuss what is going on," said Twitter's Global Income and Partnership Vice President Matt DeRailo.

According to Twitter sources, football fans have a special active group on the platform. Because of them, football video games have increased 144% in a year on platforms.
