#28 Play-offs Surprises and top performers week 4 (Haas News)

The Stars of the third week of the NBA play-offs.

Hi welcome back everybody! Like most of you know I posted about the regular season of the NBA weekly but I am super happy the play-offs arrived and there were so many great games already! Super happy to with this time a year and am very excited to see what will happen and who will be champions this year.
During the play-offs I will post once a week about the top performers like I did during the regular season and I will post about my predictions per round.
So are you ready for the top performers of the third week?! By now the first team are send home and the Conference semifinals are on its way! Witch teams will make it to out of the conference finals? It will all depend on how some players show themselves. Here my this week’s favorites.

Dwane Casey
How do I start? I moved to Toronto just before the start of the 2012-2013 season, right before the start of the second season of Dwane Casey, at first I was not impressed and was doubting a bit, but especially the last three seasons I was really impressed by what he was doing. This season he started to implement a different system with a bigger rotation and less isolation plays. It all resulted in the best record in the East and I had really high hopes for the play-offs but like every year the Raptors choked again! Is it his fault? I don’t know, is it fair to try a different coach and see what happens? I do think so, they are committed to the players they have and need to win soon otherwise they should rebuild. If it was up to me I would have given Casey one more year. Thanks for everything coach.

Marcus Morris
The Celtics made it to the conference finals that to me is really impressive let’s see if they can make it to the finals? I think they have a chance, but I also thought the Raptors would beat the Cavs, so who knows? Next year will be a very exciting year for the Celtics when they can play with Hayward and Iring again.
There is just one way to beat the Cavs and that is to slow Lebron down, Marcus Morris thinks he is up for the task.
He is saying that he is the best defender to stop Lebron next to Leonard. The game is in a few hours so let’s all see. I selected Marcus Morris as the player of the week because he was very important to them in the series against the Sixers

Lebron James
The last week of the regular season I did not pick Lebron James for this list and some followers did not agree. What else can I do this week to start with the King! I always know his play improves in the play-offs his drive and desire are getting even bigger it seems. This year to me he has one of his weakest team around him to help him in the play-offs, I do like the new additions but they simply did not have enough time to get the best chemistry. So who do you depend on? And who will never disappoint? The King!
The King just got a really good coach fired!

Chris Paul
The floor general of the Rockets? I do believe so, we all know Harden is the regular season MVP but Paul dictates the game and sets the tone in the play-offs. In the last two games of the last series he scored over 30 points, 9 Rebounds and 8 assists on average! If he can keep up these numbers the Warriors have to be focused otherwise the Rockets can make it to the finals.

Kevin Durant
Just gave a lot of credit to Paul, but please do not forget the former MVP Durant, also averaging 30 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds over the last two games , so who will be the X-factor in the series? We will all find out soon.

I predict a final between the Celtics and Warriors!
