Sports can be cruel
Last night a World Championship boxing fight was held between Delphine Persoon from Belgium and Katie Taylor from Ireland.
The venue was the mythical Madison Square Garden. Now both ladies boxed their hearts out, and biased as I am, Persoon was the better boxer in my opinion.
But the there is the jury. Three jurors decide who wins. One of them called it a tie game, the other two gave a score of 96-94 for Taylor...
Game over, a cruel decision in my opinion! There must be some other way to score such a game objectively?
