January 19th will be the debut of Remco Evenepoel in the professional peloton. The junior world champion in both the road race and time trial of Innsbruck last summer will start in the tour of San Juan in Argentina with Deceuninck-Quick Step. Skipping the under 23 category, which is unseen in these modern times...

Very curious to see this prodigy ride with the big guys... And especially how he will handle the pressure and with the fact the he will not be winning every race he starts...

    The San Juan is actually a little later (27th Jan - 3rd Feb) but nonetheless I'm very excited to see how this guy will get on!

    Some big names have already confirmed they'll be there; Quintana, Visconti and his teammate Alaphilippe. It'll be a strong peleton no doubt!

    I know, my mistake, he starts in UAE the 19th, but then goes to San Juan, I am really curious for this guy!

        He only started cycling about 18 months ago, he was a soccer player at Anderlecht before that... so it would surprise me!
