Another reason college coaches should be paid in education just like their players.

in #sports6 years ago

Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer is forced to take $7.6 million this year while his players get paid in far more valuable education.

And now he is suffering for it.

If only he were paid in education like his players, he may have known the meaning of the word "lie".

If only Meyer had earned education instead of those 7.6 million silly dollars, he could have avoided the whole mess of the past 2 days (or 3 years).

Today Meyer issued this statement:

"My intention was not to say anything inaccurate or misleading," he added in the lengthy statement. "However, I was not adequately prepared to discuss these sensitive personnel issues with the media, and I apologize for the way I handled those questions."

That statement was in response to the statement from the previous day when Meyer stated that he did not know about domestic abuse allegations against his WR coach Zach Smith when in fact he absolutely knew about the allegations.

I didn't realize that one needed to prepare to tell the truth. Oh well, I guess step one of being prepared to tell the truth is to understand what a lie is.

Coach Meyer, please see the definition above.

There now you will always be prepared.
