The Future Is Bright for Tottenham .

I think everyone on the Steem blockchain knows I am a Spurs supporter at this stage. Even though we did not win anything it was a successful season qualifying for the champions league and also getting to the final of the same competition which was way above the clubs expectations. Only for a 50/50! Hand ball by the clubs player of the year put us on the back foot and ruined the game in my opinion but Liverpool were deserved winners in the end. The £130 million for reaching the final will come in handy also. The future is bright for us. And here is why.
Our New Stadium

Our new stadium is built and it is state of the art. The stadium seats over 65500 which will facilitate our needs for the next 20 years. This will double our revenue. Our naming rights for the stadium will also fetch a hefty sum. And our stadium has a retractable pitch so when the NFL come knocking , Tottenham have a stadium fit for purpose. It will make a great concert venue also. So our revenue streams from the new stadium will be limitless. I was there last year and I could not get over the sheer size of the place. They have bars that can pull pints in record time .The drink enters from the bottom of the glass using magnets.
What kind of Voodoo witchcraft is this? I spurted as my drink poured from underneath.
The Chairman Daniel Levy

Since Daniel has come aboard Tottenham have never finished below 6st place. I’m Alex Ferguson’s autobiography he stated that he had hip replacements were less painful than negotiating with Levy. He suffers no fools and he is known to get every last cent out of rival clubs who want a Tottenham player. Take Gareth Bale for example. He negotiated 120 million from Madrid for him. Tell me now was he worth it ? Well maybe he was for the bycycle kick in last years champions league final but he has been plagued with injuries ever since. Levy went off and purchased 5 players from the Bale deal. One of them was Christian Ericson. He plans to sell Erickson to Real Madrid for £120 million this summer.
I was working in London this year and the stories I heard about Levy were priceless. Instead of renting the cranes to build Tottenhams new stadium 2 years ago, he purchased them. When the stadium was built he had them sold for double what he paid. Now that is a shrewd guy. There has been a lot of slack given to Tottenham for not buying anyone for two years but Levy is building a stadium and keeping the budgets tight. Last week Tottenham have bought Ndombele for a club record of £65 million. He is not afraid to spend the money but it has to be the right player so he is not afraid to wait. Clubs are highly criticised by the press for throwing money at players. Tottenham do the opposite , reach the champions league final and still get grief. Which is it?? We are an extremely well run club and we have a long term plan. Look at the biggest clubs in the world like Madrid , United and PSG. Spending close to a billion on stars and no results. Badly run in my opinion.
** The Club Manager Mauricio Pochettino**

It is crucial that we keep our manager. This is the one big worry that a club will swoop in and take him. But signing Ndombele has been a big step in showing Poch that the clubs will facilitate his requests. He now has a lot more power after reaching the champions league final and the club are behind him. Levy and Mauricio have a good relationship. He has a team that would die for him and a brand new stadium. He also has an estimated £160 million to spend. So I ask you , why would he want to leave for a club like Utd where player power has meant to end to one of the worlds best coaches in Mourinho. Does he want that hassle??. I think he knows that he is on a good run with Tottenham and he will keep building . The cups will start coming and he will go down as a hero at the club.
Harry Kane

The Spurs striker would get into any team in the world. What is it about Harry Kane that nets him so many goals. He is not the fastest, he is not blessed with skill but he can put away a goal from anywhere and he is a nightmare for center half’s. Even the best defenders on the planet have a problem with Kane. Kane has commited his future to Tottenham by signing a 250k a week contract last week. That is a statement by the club that we will pay the going rate for our performing players. The flub has also now renewed the contracts of Ben Davies and Harry Winks. Two of our first team elite players.
There are no easy games in the premier league anymore. Every club now has enough money to buy talent from abroad so it will all be about team cohesion. Poch has a good thing going with Tottenham who have now overtaken Arsenal as the top club in North London. With Chelsea winding down operations Tottenham will become the pro dominant club in London. I can’t see Arsenal competing unless there is a massive overhaul this summer. The future is bright for Tottenham with some squad investment , the trophies will come sooner rather than later..

I can't upvote a tottenham post :D

Hahaha . Arsenal man I take it

yap. it is a weird thing how someone becomes a fan of a club that will probably never watch live :D

off to watch red star, they play qualifiers for Champions league.

Having watched the entire path to the final with a spurs mate of mine, even as an Everton fan I was pretty gutted to see that stupid handball pretty much seal the fate of Spurs so early on. Especially given I was wearing my mates spurs shirt in a bar packed with Liverpool fans because he didn't have the nerve to do so ;) Really bizarre move of Cissoko to make within a minute of play starting.

Still I enjoyed some crazy nights watching how they managed to overcome the odds vs Dortmund and Man City. Hope you guys go on another terrific run this year.

I watched that handball a few times and Sissoko was pointed to another spurs player to take up a position . Mane then kicked the ball at his hand and that’s what happened. It’s really interesting . If it was VAR it wouldn’t of been a hand ball. Haha wearing a spurs shirt! Love it . 😂😂😂. I was at Goodison years ago watching reading play Everton . . Rocky Balboa (Sly Stallone) was at the match and he came out at half time and the whole stadium went mad . Never forget it . Everyone laughing . Rocky jumping up and down. Kenwright beside him loving it. Such a great club Everton. Hopefully this year is the year things start going your way

Oh that's cool there's a rather unique story behind Sly Stallone, Everton and Rocky, I'll tell it here later! But it was pretty awesome that an Everton fan and real life professional boxer was the main antagonist of Creed and that final bout was shot using Goodison park.

What you say about Sissoko makes sense. No idea why the VAR officials gave the penalty still.

Go way . I did not know that. Makes sense now though. Rocky is a toffee , Rockey is a toffee. La la la la . La la laaaa la . 😂😂😀

Lets see what tottenham will do next season as london rep with chelsea down with ban. Nice post paddy
