Manchester City

The Citizens will be looking at defending their title, and they kick off their campaign with a trip to West Ham. The Citizens in recent times have been a powerhouse in English football, and with Pep, they will always be contending for all titles, at least on the home fronts. The transfer season saw them adding the likes of Rodri (Atletico Madrid, £62.5m), Angelino (PSV Eindhoven, £5.3m), Cancelo (Juventus, £60m), Scott Carson (Derby, loan) to an already strong squad. Its will be interesting to see how they will manage things at the back with the absence of Vincent Kompany, Fabian Delph, Danilo.

Liverpool

Liverpool kicks off Premier League action today, when they welcome Norwich to Anfield, as the Reds will be hoping to go one better, than last season.

The Reds have been less busy in the transfer season, but with a side that won the Champions League, there's not much you will want to change. Although there's few concerns for Klopp, as Mane is just back from an extended holiday, due to his international commitments, there's also injury concerns over James Milner and Naby Keita. Klopp would also be weary of Gini Wijnaldum, who was awful in the Community Shield match.

Let's hope the side from Merseyside can do better than their two previous seasons, and finally land the EPL title, which they've never won, since it got converted to the EPL.

Chelsea

For the first time in seven years, Chelsea will line up without Hazard in their ranks, but the shock is the deadline transfer of David Luiz to Arsenal. Danny Drinkwater also completed a loan deal to Burnley for six months. All these leaves Chelsea a little vulnerable at the back. To make things worse, Chelsea's opening game is against Manchester United.

It doesn't get easy for the Lampard, as the new head coach has the Super Cup with Liverpool to also think about and with a fragile back line, it would be exciting to see how He manages his new side.

Manchester United

I would like to think that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has got the first half of the season to prove himself, before the Manchester United boards starts getting worried.

The signings of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are definitely going to raise optimism among the fans, there's also a certain Daniel James, who's rumored to be a Giggs reincarnate. But then there might be worries upfront, as the Red devils were not able to find a replacement for Lukaku, who joins Inter Milan before the close of the transfer season, and its gonna be crucial for Martial to step up his game to fill that void, the Frenchman has the potential to be a great striker, but has always been found to be inconsistent with this game.

Without Champions League football, it gives the Red devils more room for having a good Campaign. Let's hope they get to a flying start as they fave Chelsea this Sunday.

Arsenal

There's so much optimism in the Emirates camp, as six new players joins the team, in what has been a record breaking transfer season for the gunners. The six new players who are Nicolas Pepe (Lille, £72m), Kieran Tierney (Celtic, undisclosed), David Luiz (Chelsea, £8m), Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid, loan), William Saliba (Saint-Etienne, undisclosed), Gabriel Martinelli (Itano Futebol Clube, undisclosed) will be an exciting addition to the team.

With the departures of Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech, Danny Welbeck, Stephan Lichtsteiner, David Ospina, Laurent Koscielny and last minute transfer Alex Iwobi (Everton, £35m) we all would want to see of some of these decisions won't come back to hurt the North London club, or it could be the much needed overhaul. Their first game is against Newcastle and their search for a better place finish is on.

Tottenham

This side has shown consistency and growth over the last few seasons, and their determination to hold on to their star players (Harry Kane & Christian Eriksen) is quite admirable admist bids from Madrid and Barcelona respectively.

Spurs were quite busy even as the deadline drew to a close, with two late signings Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon both being snapped up.

Their first match is against Aston Villa, and they will be without Son and Dele, who are both suspended and injured respectively. And as for Harry Kane? Well its August! Which leaves them with just one player Tanguy Ndombele, their first purchase this season. He will be ready to take his chance, and try to switch things up from the midfield.

So let's see if the Second best team in Europe can get to finally get their hands on the much converted EPL title their owner really craves.
