The sportswoman Alba Esteban dies in a tragic accident

The 19-year-old footballer Alba Esteban died Thursday at the Son Espases hospital in Palma, where she was admitted after suffering a traffic accident two days earlier. The young woman played in the Independent Cultural and Sports Society (SCD) of Palma, which competes in the Balearic regional league.

The player, accompanied by a friend, was driving a moped on the road between Palma and Sóller, outside the capital, when she lost control and fell, after being touched by another vehicle, according to the Civil Guard.
He played at Son Oliva, Athletic Marratxí, Recreativo La Victoria, until he reached the Independiente. After knowing the death of the girl, several football clubs and fans have shown their condolences on social networks. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has lamented that the young athlete has "gone at such an early age" in a "miserable traffic accident", while showing her condolences to her family and closest people.
Atlético Baleares has expressed in another message the "immense sorrow" for this loss and has stressed that some of the players of this club militarized with it on other teams and know that "Alba was worth a world."

Málaga CF Femenino has also added condolences to Alba's family in these "painful moments" and added: "Our deepest sympathy, rest in peace."
