Nicholas Pepe got signed yo Arsenal for a mouth watering £72million transfer fee and since then, all eyes have been on him.
Making matters worse is, his inability to put up a good show in 'Seven games.' The question is being asked if he is a good fit for Arsenal or if he is worth that much money???
My Thoughts.
It is now seven games into Nicholas Pepe's Arsenal career, and questions are already being asked about him, his well-being as a player and his worth as a footballer which broke headline news.
Does Pepe need to be given 6 months like in the case of Robert Pires, so he can prove himself as a good player worth every penny laid on him?
For a £72million transfer fee, one would expect quality, good game time and strength from the firmer Lille play maker and not an end product that looks like now like a joke.
In the 1-1 draw between Arsenal and a struggling Manchester United, Pepe was seen not being able to hold on to the values as he was easily dispossessed of the ball and he lack the ability to keep on with the game.
He put on a dismal performance and I just wonder if I am the only one who saw that disappointing display or just maybe my screen was just being unfair.
Arsenal needs a win and if they had spent that much h on Pepe, he should be able to start showing some form.
Unai Emery is also trying to make things not look like the signing is a good deal and that the young player needs some time to settle in. But, it is 7 games already and he needs to start playing good games.
Imo Pepe is overrated.
French League isn´t like the Premierleague.
A lot of people say a "young" talent needs time. But he is 24. Today is a player with 18-20 a young talent, but not more with 24. In the AfricanCup he also missed.

I think I agree with you here and i wonder why the guys at Arsenal didn't figure that out. Pepe is kinda overwhelmed and until he starts seeing himself as worthy of the new field of play, he may just keep being a disappointment.
