Israel Adesanya Knocks Out Robert Whittaker Now UFC Middleweight Champ

Earlier hours of today saw Nigeria-New Zealand based kick boxer/martial artist go head to head with Robert Whittaker in thrilling bout for the UFC middleweight belt.

The match leaved up to the hype as it was entertaining. It also saw a UFC record crowd of 57,127.

The match at the Melborne Marvel Stadium saw Israel Adesanya finally coming out on top. The match ended in the second round after Adesanya sent Whittaker to the cleaners with a stunning left hook in 3:33

This now see Adesanya become the unified heavyweight champion as he unified all belts in the Middleweight category.

The victory now see the Nigeria-born complete his ascension to the top in just 2yrs since his promotion to the division.
