The 37 year old mother of one says she's not done yet topping the forbe's rich list of highest paid sports women. This is coming at a time she got displaced out of the world number one position following the birth of her daughter. But then, the Forbes list does not count your current position as a criterion. Otherwise, Ash Barty should be in the top 15.

Obviously, the majority of her earnings came from the endorsement deals she's got. Winning the grand slam alone is not enough, the endorsements also matters. little wonder i saw that coming in favour of Serena. Something which did not make Barty grace the list, but i understand she's just taking her life one step at a time. No rush, just endorsements that coincides with her values and beliefs.
One unexpected person, as i perused the list was the Japanese Tennis star, Naomi Osaka. it was indeed a rapid rise to the No. 2 position for her, netting a total earning of $24.3m. Meaning she probably made more than $20m through endorsements and bonuses within 12 months. That's indeed noteworthy.
Indeed on of the few women who has graced the sport and performed excellently well. Her agility and perseverance are second to none. little wonder she is the only woman who made it to the Forbes top 100 best paid athletes list sometime in June.
