English Premier League is BACK!!!
The moment many of us have been waiting for has finally come; The Premier League 2019/20. The season started yesterday after more than 2 months away from action. Liverpool vs Norwich was the first fixture with which the latter emerged victor with a 4-1 score.
Premier League 2019/20 season is the 28th season since the start of the Premier League in 1992, before it was called Football League. It has featured 49 clubs within that time and among them 6 have played each season without getting relegated; Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester Utd, and Tottenham.
Manchester United was the first team to win the Premier League and have lifted the title 13 times, the highest by a big margin. All the titles were under Sir Alex Ferguson, branded as the most successful manager in English football. Since he left Manchester United in 2012, the club have failed to win it again.
Manchester City who are the defending champions will be looking to defend it again this season. They have lifted it in the last 2 consecutive seasons and are favoured to win it again.
