Dylan Teuns, what an exploit! First Belgian victory in this Tour!
La planche de belles filles!
What a horror climb, with over 20 % in the last kilometer. La Planche de Belles Filles is a monster.
But it was tamed by a Belgian, Dylan Teuns won the stage after a very long escape from the peleton with 4 fellow Belgians. Among them, of course, Thomas De Gendt, and polka dot jersey, Tim Wellens.
The last guy that could go with him, was Italian talent Ciccone, and it was a sprint of dying swans, but Dylan made it! Good for you man, proud Belgian over here!

For the General Classement, Geraint Thomas succeeded to take a few seconds on his team mate, Bernal, only Thibaut Pinot was able to follow him closely.
Nibali and Bardet lost over 20 seconds. Thomas promoted himself to favourite for this Tour, now!

He did very well and I wasn't sure if I was surprised but then, there is always a surprise jolt when someone does well and becomes the first from his class. Looking to see how it all plays out.
Oh, but he won’t win the Tour! But still, it’s not given to every one, to win a mountain stage in Le Tour!
