Perfect profile of race for him
The final 60 kilometers of today's stage in the Tour de France are quite heavy, with some steep climbs and very small roads. And the finish is very hard. So no sprint race today.
This kind of course is perfect for the punchers, like Van Avermaet, Matthews, Alaphilippe, Sagan and Wout Van Aert! I expect him today. Maybe not for the win, but it could be that when the current leader, his teammate, Mike Teunissen, can't follow the leaders today, Wout can. So Wout could take the yellow today, after the perfect Team Time Trial yesterday where he took the white jersey.

A very interesting race, and maybe we will already see the favourites ride for some seconds in the end.

Very interesting stage today and I see Geraint Thomas starting to sneak up the times, obviously suffering no long term effects of his crash.
It's a real shame there is so much sport going on at the moment as the Tour doesn't seem to be getting its fair share of headlines and coverage this year.
Hehe, here in Belgium, it's all Tour de France, now that king football is gone for a month! And very sad for David Goffin actually, his exploits are on page 7 or 8 or something...
