Sports Talk Curation Discord: All Welcome!
I was reading through some comments on the Sports Talk Discord server today and it occurred to me that there are a couple of issues with the platform that require workarounds.
Firstly, the 'New' section is littered with Actifit posts. I won't get into whether or not that kind of post should be on the platform but one issue with them is that they quickly bury other new content that might be deserving of rewards.
Secondly, as many of us have other commitments in our daily lives, it can be difficult to find the time to search for high-quality posts to upvote and engage with.
The downside to this is that there are likely to be plenty of users putting lots of effort into their posts and not seeing the rewards they deserve. This can be disheartening and may lead to people exiting the platform which is obviously something than none of us want to see.

The Sports Talk Curation Discord server is a place for all Sports Talk Social users to share links to high-quality content.
The initial idea was to provide a channel for people to link to other users' posts only. However, I quickly realised that it would be naive to expect people to search for content to share that wasn't there own with no upside to doing so.
Therefore, the initial rule of the server is that once you have shared someone else's post and given it an upvote, you may then share a link to one of your own posts.
I would encourage people to join and help reward quality content with a few upvotes here and there. It will help to spread the love a little more and keep newcomers interested in the platform.

The only issue I have is the numerous Actfit posts which is becoming very annoying and more like a spam. 8 out of every 10 posts on the New section is now Actifit and I really don't know if this problem can be rectified at all
Thanks mate. Yeah, I don't like those posts either. It makes it really hard to find good content because they're buried within minutes by dozens of Actifit posts. Shame really, although I'm sure something will be done about it sooner or later. Hopefully!

Good idea which is usual if someone support the only British club with style lol! Re #actifit this really annoys mainly as it is by design shit! The thing is some are really creating good content within their actifit post but it gets burried as it is branded immediately as actifit.....
