Anything that has a beginning must have an ending. I read the news a few hours ago that the Formal Netherlands midfielder, Wesley Sneijder has retired. He had a good career of 17 years with many decent medals. Sneijder is one player I love in football. I remember when Sir Alex attempted to land him. I thought the deal would work out, but it turns negative.

Sneijder had a respectable career. He started his career in Ajax FC, and he won four trophies with the team. Later he moved to Real Madrid in the year 2007. Then, they sold him to Inter Milan in 2009/10, and he helped the Italian side to win the treble in that year. In 2010 world cup, his outstanding performance drove the Netherlands to the final against Spain, but they could not win the World cup.

That year, most of football lovers thought he would win the Ballon d’ or, but it was awarded to Messi, even while it was glaring that Messi had no reasonable achievement than the Liga that season. Well, it happened. Sneijder has won quite several trophies like the La Liga with Real Madrid, Coppa Italia, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, Fifa Club World Cup with Inter Milan, and many more with other teams.
