Chelsea have confirmed the Signing of Mateo kovacic from Real Madrid on a season long loan as part of the swap deal involving Thibaut courtois who has signed for Real Madrid after refusing to extend his contract and has made his desire to leave.
Mateo kovacic will join his new teammates as he search for regular game time after struggling to hold a first team shirt in both club and country.
The Croatian midfielder has played 109 times scoring three goals in all his appearances for Madrid.
Since joining Real Madrid from intermilan he has not really lived up to expectations as he has played second fiddle to modric and co in the midfield.
He will have another chance to prove himself at Chelsea and try to impress Maurizio sarri.
