Mourinho left frustrtaed at United not signing centre-back

The coach of Manchester united have been left frustrated after the club refused to deliver on their promise of signing a center-back the likes of real Madrid's Varane quality.

Manchester was quiet on deadline day as no deal was done. Fans had been expecting one or two high-profile signings to be made. It didn't happen. Instead, on the clubs outlet were news of endorsement deals.

Mourinho however didn't rent his anger in the press conference ahead of his side's game against Leicester on Friday. he knew this was not the time.

One positive that the manager can take from the close of the transfer window is that the focus can finally shift to activities on the field like the game against Leicester.
