Our football celebrity for the 8-8-18 is coming late due to my tough day at work. I'm very sorry for that and I hope you forgive my lateness.
Today Footballer'birthday is not a very popular player as many would have said but he has been a fantastic player since his arrival at Liverpool.
He is no other person than Liverpool Centre-back Joel Matip.

Matip was born on the 8th of August and today made it his 26th birthday.
Matip started his youth career in the year 1991 and ended it 2009,during this years he played with SC Weitmar 45, VfL Bochum, Schalke 04. The 26 year old defender started his senior career in 2009 with Schalke 04 II before joining the senior Schalke 04 till 2016.

Liverpool signed him from Schalke and he has contributed a lot to the team force in defense. The Liverpool Centre-back has won two titles with clubs and his eager to win more with Liverpool in the coming season.
