Manchester United surprisingly halt Watford winning streak at the Vicarage Road. Watford has been putting up great performance from the start of the 2018/19 season. The home team has won all matches until last night when they played against Manchester United.

I personally wasn’t expecting a victory from Manchester United due to Watford outstanding performance so far.
Manchester united have lost two match so far this season but it seems they are back to contend for the English Premier League title.

Manchester United now sits 8th on the table behind Arsenal and Watford has dropped to the fourth position. It was surprising to me that the visitors dominated away from home.

The first goal in the match was recorded in the 35th minutes of the first half from Romelu Lukaku, the goal put the visitor in front and it boosted their confidence of getting a victory away from home. Three minutes after the first goal Chris Smalling doubled united lead to end the first half perfectly. The first half ended in a win for the visitors.

The second half started brightly also, Watford didn’t stop pushing forward to get an equalizer but the united defense looked too strong for the home team to handle. In the 65th minutes of the second half, Andre gray scored for Watford to make it 2-1 and that was the best they could get from the match. Matic got a red card in the final minutes of the second half for receiving the second yellow card in the match.

Manchester united got the three points and moved to the eight position on the table. Thanks for reading
