Manchester United starts season with victory over Leicester City

Manchester United started the 2018/19 season with a victory over Leicester City on Friday night. Manchester united kept their record intact against the visitors after playing 2-1 at their opening match of the season.
We should have expected a win for Manchester United even before the start of the season but it s a new season and the team can’t be evaluated yet.

It didn’t take long before the goals started coming in, Manchester United World cup winner: Paul Pogba opened the score line for United. He scored the first goal of the English Premier League 2018/18 season after converting from the spot kick just three minutes into the first half of the match. The first half the match ended 1-0 in favor of Manchester United.

The second looked tougher, both teams had already settled into the game resulting into a cool and entertaining match from both sides. Goal didn’t come in until the 83rd minutes when Luke Shaw scored United second of the match. Victory looked very certain but the visitors didn’t relent in hitting back at the host.

Leicester City Jamie Vardy scored a consolation goal for his side in the 90th minutes of the match. The match ended 2-1.
