Javier Alejandro Mascherano who is now 33 is an Argentine Footballer that was born on the
8 June 1984, he was born in San Lorenzo, Argentina.
Javier Mascherano plays as a defensive midfielder or a Centre-back, he is currently playing for Hebei China Fortune after a successful career with Barcelona. The Argentina player has played for six teams till date at the youth and senior level. Mascherano started his football career in the year 1999 with River plate Youth side before joining the side senior team in 2003. Between 2003 and now he has played with 6 teams including Spanish team Barcelona, Liverpool, Westham, River Plate, Corinthians and Hebei China Fortune.
Mascherano has had 183 appearance for the country side playing in the U20, Olympics and the Senior National team. He will be participating at the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia and he become Argentina most capped player in the tournament.
The player won 22 titles at the club level including the Champions league at the club level, he also won the gold medal at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics for his national side.
