JAMES' REACTION TO COLOMBIA EXIT
James Rodriguez found it hard to hide his emotions after the final whistle on Tuesday 3rd as England ended Colombia's world cup hope in a drama-filled penalty shootout.
The 26 year old who was injured during their last match in the group stage was unable to pass his last fitness test proceeding the match against England, as he passionately watched from the stands.
Anxiety and the fear of unknown was visible all over the Bayern Munich player while Harry Kane was about to take the penalty that gave England a lead in the 57th minute.
Nevertheless, his joy could not be measured when Yerry Mina headed the last minute corner into the back of the net to level the scores and take the match to extra time.
The Colombian international took to twitter, a picture of himself crying, to express how pained and sad he was prior to the loss.
