Inter Milan is on the verge of signing a new contract with Mauro Icardi. The parties must agree on the bonuses - reports "La Gazzetta dello Sport".

"Nerazzurri" want very much to extend the contract with their captain. In addition, San Siro club activists want to raise or remove the clause, which in his current contract is € 110 million.

The Italian daily reports that the new contract is to be extended by 2 years and will remain in force until the end of June 2023. His earnings are expected to be € 5-6 million per season. The parties have already reached an agreement on the basic conditions. The issue of bonuses, which are supposed to relate to the accomplishment of personal and team goals, has been agreed upon. No one, however, has doubts that everything will be finalized in the coming weeks.

Icardi in the 2017/18 season appeared in 36 Inter matches in all competitions. He scored 29 goals and 1 assist.
