The Italian portal "Calciomercato" reported that after signing a new contract with Juventus FC, Sami Khedira became one of the best-paid player in Serie A.

The 31-year-old German extended the contract with the "Old Lady" until the end of June 2021 with the option of extending it by another 12 months. On his power, the player received a raise and will earn € 6 million a year.

More than Khedira in Serie A earns only 4 players - Cristiano Ronaldo (€ 31 million per year), Gonzalo Higuain (€ 8.5 million per year), Paulo Dybala (€ 7 million per year) and Miralem Pjanic (€ 6.5 million per year) .

The midfielder came to the capital of Piemont in 2015 from Real Madrid. In the past, he also played in VfB Stuttgart, which he is a foster child.
