Crypto social media is blooming! Sprtshub has relaunched as a blogging/gaming platform built on top of the EOS blockchain!
Sprtshub started as a clone of the Steem condenser, but now the development team has upgraded the project to a new platform powered by the EOS blockchain!
The team has decided to rely on the technology of the EOS blockchain to deliver a platform capable of handling content creation, sharing, and gaming!
There are a lot of great features on Sprtshub, let's dive into some of them!
- Creating an account is as easy as it can be, you just have to sign up with your email in order to get a confirmation mail in your inbox. Then you can proceed to create your user name and from there you should safely store your generated private keys (owner key, active key, and posting key).
- Sprtshub has a new trending algorithm! Not only the higher payout posts will be the only ones to get exposure, a healthy mix of most engaged and most rewarded post will be feautured on the trending page to encourage user to create great content.
- Delegated proof of stake is the consensus algorithm choosen for Sprtshub since it has been proven a success on Steem for more than three years! Thus we will have the Sprtshub token (SHC) as a liquid asset and as a powered up asset.
- Despite being a patform where users share sports-related content, users can also share their content from other topics. Also there is a freelance platform for business to thrive within the Sprtshub ecosystem.
Sprtshub has a fairly simple set of rules settled in order to prevent abusive behavior to roam freely. There is a small number of them, thus users freedom is not hindered like centralized platforms. Nevertheless, they are clear enough to point out what will not be tolerated on the platform:
Rules of Engagement.
Content creation has rules that should be followed and maintained by the users otherwise, there will be a collapse and the loss of balance in the world.
- No Plagiarized and Spam contents. Users are expected to avoid posting plagiarized contents on the Sprtshub platform. This is a censorship-resistant platform but, we frown at plagiarism and spam as it is no way to send a message across but a rot that destroys free communication and steals the work of hard-working authors. The community through their selected guilds will be responsible for policing the platform and ensuring that, it doesn't become a dumping ground for shit posts. No one wants to be in a platform where bot farming is the order of the day.
- No bots and spam accounts. There will be zero tolerance for bots and spam accounts. The community will thrive on healthy grounds without such practices which as we all know are detrimental to the wellbeing of a social media platform. Spam articles and bot accounts will be stripped of their reward by the community.
- No unreferenced pictures or articles. Users are advised to always reference images used especially if they are collected from other sources. To avoid using copyrighted images, users will do well to use sites like Pixabay, Pexel, Unsplash and a host of others. These sites offer free images that can be used by content creators. When writing about certain articles, make sure to reference the source of every quote used.
- No trolling, racial slur, use of violent languages against or directed at anyone or community. The Sprtshub platform is a global stage that will allow users express themselves in their own way, languages, and signs but we will not entertain unruly behavior that will tag the platform as an unsafe place to interact. Our driving code is "Create. Share. Discover. Interact and Earn" and with that being said, everyone has a voice as much as the nest person.
The icing on the cake is the ease with which users can send SHC in and out of the user's EOS wallet, all thanks to a nice option available directly from Sprtshub wallet, users will just need to approve the transactions with their scatter.
You just have to get into your wallet.
Click on the SPRTSHUB COIN (SHC) menu to display the options to deposit or withdraw your SHC from your EOS wallet.
Also, you can SWAP your EOS for SHC at a rate of 1800 SHC/EOS.

Just saying, no matter how badly you love someone if the one you love gives you disappointment and pain on a daily basis you will look away for better options (unless you are a doomed masochists). My cup is filled with Steemit inc. and top witness (the "only ones" who know how to make this a success) not caring about the users, I have a lot of that on Facebook already... billions are on facebook without getting a penny BECAUSE IT IS FUN TO BE THERE! add to that fun a reward possibility... HOW YOU SCREW THAT BUSINESS? well Steemit inc. and top witnesses seems to know how.
Not sure what do you mean with competitors adds... what you seem to be proposing is like banning steem from facebook, instagram or youtube. Also, I don't understand what do you mean when you say that steem is providing wealth for other blockchain projects. If you mean this post payout it comes from bots purchased with my own steem (not that I want it to be this way, but it is the current mechanism ruling this platform and witnesses seem to be driving the platform away from content creators interests). If you mean the fact that Sprtshub started as a fork of steem condenser, it is just natural to have people forking open source code as steem condenser is.
Anyhow, my intention only was to communicate that content creators have more options. It's up to you if you decided to try them or not. Nevertheless, I appreciate that you bothered to comment on my post. Engagement is all what I care about and I appreciate your feedback.

I can speak only for myself, I will not leave steem as long as it is running, I have never powered down a single steem and you can see that this post is set to 100% power up reward. BUT! steem content discovery is completely broken, token distribution only encourage investors mindset and communities are completely isolated without power to make their opinion to be listened by the top witnesses. Social media users (the ones that are here only for the fun and engagement not for the rewards) WILL NEVER PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT HUNDREDS OF OTHER SITES OFFER FOR FREE!
That's something those brilliant minds running this platform seem to be unable to understand, this other options indeed pop up because the original idea proposed by steem is just too brilliant, too wonderful to let it died because of the narrow thinking of the ones running this place.

Can you get listed on Steem engine. They are working on adding EOS tokens.
Me? oh you think that I am in charge Sprtshub... not at all, I'm just a regular user. I think that it can be proposed on their discord server though. But dunno what are the listing fees, since Sprtshub community was originally on Steem I think that they are aware of Steem-engine. I'll try to reach them to find out if they're interested.
