Inter Milan strip Mauro icardi of his captaincy

Report ongoing is that inter Milan have decided to strip Mauro icardi of the club captaincy after failing to agree a new contract with the club.

Mauro icardi has been the club captain for several years despite his young age and he is one of their best player also.

He has been heavily link with a move away from the club but inter Milan are trying to tie him to a new contract but talks for an improved wage has been futile.

The club announced the decision yesterday that icardi will not be the club captain and keeper samir handanovic is taking over.

    I think Icardi is close to going to play one of the great Spanish clubs, I recognize their importance at Inter but maybe they should go looking for a replacement
