Liverpool gets 96th winner in Merseyside Derby

In Super Sunday, 4 of the big 6 clubs were in action. Along with London derby, Merseyside derby was one to watch for as Liverpool welcomed neighbour Everton. Liverpool came to this match with a win over Watford while Everton defeated Cardiff last week.

The second half was the same story with no team pushing for the goals. Everton was the better team between two in most part of the second half. The home fans waited for 90+6 minutes for the winner. Divock Origi got the winner after the blunder by Pickford to win the game by 1-0 for Liverpool.

With this win, Liverpool is still second in the table with 36 points. They are just 2 points clear of the leader City. They are ahead of third-placed Chelsea by 5 points. Everton is at the 6th with 22 points, ahead of Manchester United by goal difference. The fifth-placed Spurs is 8 point ahead of the pack.
