In the 26th week of PL, City won against Chelsea to pressure Liverpool. They were looking to win this one after Liverpool won against Bournemouth. Chelsea was looking to secure win here to pressure for fourth spot.

At Etihad Stadium, City completely dominated the game. They got the first goal in the fourth minute of the match. Sterling scored in the fourth minute of the match. Then Sergio Aguero added 2 goals and Gundogan got the fourth. City was 4-0 up by 25 minutes of the match. The half ended with a 4-0 lead.

With a 4-0 lead in the half, City was brilliant in the second half too. Sergio Aguero scored again in the 56th minute to complete the hattrick from a penalty. Sterling was fouled in the box. Sterling added the sixth to complete the day and City won by 6-0.
