SARRI ASSURES HUDSON-ODOI WILL BE WITH THE FIRST TEAM
Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has assured that the teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready and ripe enough to join Chelsea's first team after the winger impressively performed during their ICC clash against Arsenal on Wednesday 1st.
The 17 year old Hudson-Odoi made his EPL League debut in January and further appeared one more time last season after playing a key role in the England under 17 squad during their World Cup campaign.
Notwithstanding that Chelsea were eventually defeated 6-5 penalty shootout having played 1-1 in FT, Hudson-Odoi was brilliantly giving Hector Bellerin a serious tough time as he later won a penalty from him which Alvaro Morata was unable to convert to a goal.
The coach Sarri in his words to reporters after the match, said: "Hudson-Odoi is a player we have to wait for as he is yet to turn 18. I can see a mighty asset in him in the nearest future, he will join the first team from this season."
