Jerry Stackhouse becomes Assistant Coach for Memphis

Jerry Stackhouse, Toronto’s G-League head coach will now work under JB Bickerstaff as an assistant coach for the Memphis team.

The past two years has seen Stackhouse work as a coach of a Toronto G-League affiliate, Raptors 905. In those seasons, he has led the squad to the finals of the G-League.

In 2017, the Raptors 905 emerged victors and were crowned champions for that season.

Those two past seasons saw Stackhouse garner a cool record of 70-30. Having gotten such success as a coach, he began to get attention from around the league.

Recently, he was interviewed for a head coaching job with Yorks Knick. However, David Fizdale, former Memphis coach got the job.

He also interviewed for a head coaching job with the Toronto Raptors which is still vacant at the moment.
