Rodrygo Nominated for U-20 Ballon D'Or

Real Madrid bound Santos forward Rodrygo has reportedly been nominated for the U-21 Ballon d'Or award. The Brazilian forward has signed a contract with Madrid that will see him join the Los Blancos at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.

Rodrygo is the latest young talent produced by the Santos academy following the likes of Neymar, Robinho and even legendary Pele. Despite being nominated for the award, the Brazilian is not the favourite to win the award while the like of Kylian Mbappe are in the nomination. Mbappe will definitely clinch the award after winning the world cup with his Country France and the Ligue 1 title and other domestic cups with Paris Saint Germain.
