Another surprise came on Saturday and it got people talking but I am still watching anyway. Manchester United were 2-0 down to Newcastle at home in the 11th minute and it was expected to be another long evening for the fans. I still feel the fans feel it most than these current crops of players that are only interested in the paycheck and posting Instagram videos.

The game later turned on the head when Juan Garcia Mata was introduced into the game. He delivered an inch-perfect free kick that left the keeper reeling at the base of the goal post. That proved to be the spark that was needed.

Not too long after, Pogba connected well with his French brother; Anthony Martial to double the advantage and draw Manchester United level, to my own dismay, and most fans too, who have long seen such a United side overturning a two-goal deficit.

To cap it all up, in the 89th minute, Alexis Sanchez delivered the blow to the Toons' Army and their coach; Rafael Benitez who is a long-term enemy of Jose Mourinho and excitement for the United fans right on their home turf. Wow. What a feeling that must be.

As much as the remarkable turn around was needed, I still feel it shouldn't be against Newcastle United they should be struggling to beat. It should have been a one-way victory barring any surprise springing up and United winning this match shouldn't be the surprise at all.

The positive aspect to this is that it should create a mental shift in the players, so much that rather than feel down anytime they are trailing, they should feel confident about overturning every deficit and not just sit back to defend or create a damage control goal deficit.

Yes, this could be the spark they need to kick-start this ailing season already, but with Jose Mourinho's countenance during the post-match press conference, I still feel there is trouble. He was only saying it with his mouth how excited he was, but I see something else when he was talking. It was more like he was trying to be in control which might not be too good for the players who laboured hard. Yes, he gave credit to them, but his words and actions didn't match. I couldn't help but feel he was forced to do the press conference or he has received a sad news prior to that.

He celebrated wildly on the pitch but there was no correlation with his excitement which he mentioned in the conference with his words. It was obvious it means so much to the players how they laboured so hard to overturn the match and credit to Jose for bringing the right players in to influence the match, but really, the sour mood he gave in the press conference might do little to make these players play more for him.

Whatever the case, whether they play for the manager or not, let them play for the crest and the team, and it doesn't matter who takes the glory as long as they keep the fans entertained and they give their best. The fans can see too, so they should do what's best for the team.
