Adam Cuthbertson, veteran Australian forward will continue on with Leeds Rhinos. This comes on the heels of a recently renewed deal which is expected to see him remain on the team for another two years.

Cuthbertson was already out of contract this year with speculations about his future already being bandied from different corners. However with this contract which will see him through till the end of 2020, all speculations have now been laid to rest.

Since arriving at England about three and half years ago, the 33 year old prop has shown off his skills, going on to make a hefty impact in the Super League ever since his arrival.

Cuthbertson moved from Newcastle Knights to the Rhinos where he has now won two Grand Finals, the Challenge Cup and a League Leaders' Shield.

In his comments, he noted that he was happy that everything had been sorted out. He noted that while signing a new contract requires a lot of careful thinking and planning, this one for him didn't require that.

He stated that it was a very easy decision for him to make as he loves the club and finds it almost impossible to think of anywhere else to move to.

He added that while he would have to take the place of the older guys being dropped from the team, he also will look forward to working with the younger guys and being a vital tool for them as they seek to ascend up the ladder rungs of their career.
